Cornerstone House in Cumbernauld is the venue for the Cumbernauld Tedx event on Thursday 5th December 2019. Maureen Hascoet, local organiser, is looking to recruit more than 20 volunteers to support the event.
TEDx is an international community that organizes TED-style events anywhere and everywhere -- celebrating locally-driven ideas and elevating them to a global stage. TEDx events are produced independently of TED conferences, each event provides a platform for speakers based on TED's format and rules, including the 18 minutes per speaker rule.
This exciting volunteering opportunity is aimed at anyone over 16 years of age and volunteers will receive free access to the event (tickets cost £30), a t-shirt and lunch will be included. It is also anticipated that there will be an after-event party (still to be confirmed).Although the event is entitled Tedx Cumbernauld Women with 15 female speakers, the event is not limited to just women – this volunteering opportunity is available to all.
